"omg Jeff, I can't believe you took the time out to email me. My point here Jeff is that I wanted to compliment you on being so BRILLANT and making people smile.
I first saw your work in a gallery in Sauce-a-lee-toe (my spelling) many years ago. I never forgot one piece that made me laugh so hard, people came over to see why I was laughing. The piece I loved was really large, there were huge windows in this huge church and there was a little old lady at the bottom of the piece with a bucket and mop. I can't remember the title, but I never forgot it.
I stared at the painting for at least 1 1/2 hours.
Thank you for making me smile Jeff with that piece, as my mom had just passed away. Sorry to end this on that note, but its a good note for me. I had a smile on my face for the first time."
--Holly R.

The piece Holly was enjoying was the original painting of "I Don't Do Windows" measuring 5' across by 8' tall.

Welcome to: Art That Makes You Laugh®

You have stumbled unwittingly into the strange mind but artistic hand of Jeff Leedy, that's me, and the art of my off center personality.

As I create Art That Makes You Laugh® and I skewer such subjects as : "Counsel Approaching The Bench" for lawyers, and great humorous art for doctors, dentists, real estate agents, investment advisors (not Bernie), brokers, corporate executives, accountants, firemen, plumbers, tax industry professionals, nurses, hygienists, with other professions to come.

But work is not everything. I also delve into skiing, snowboarding, golf (I feel your pain), wine (ahhh, no pain) and uh-oh middle age. And I'm searching for new topics as we speak. I already have dogs and cats well represented in my humorous art.

Oh, did you know that most people purchase my reproductions over my originals? But then as they find themselves owning 3 or 4 of my works, they say, "Hey, this artist is funny and unique. I wonder if I might buy an original painting from him." And many have done just that. Hundreds of my originals are gone, who knows where.

Most folks look at my originals and ask, "Is it pastel?" I respond, "Yes, oil pastel, because I can draw and paint with it."

Many of my customers, you may be one soon (y'never know) buy my art to give to someone they know and/or love. I've heard people say, "Oh, look at this one. This is my brother! I have to get it for him." And so she does.

Some really treasure my self-published book, "Are You Laughing At My Art?" I'm told by my people who have my book, "Well yes, it really did make me laugh. Thank you."

Some others aspects of my web site are my availability as a Guest Speaker, and a funny one at that. Also Elaine (my lovely wife) and I are teaching art workshops in Texas this January and February. Check them out. You'll learn a ton. They're priced reasonably. And what you learn will only last you the rest of your life. That's all.

Originally with my art, I just thought I was making you laugh only. I was mistaken. What happened was that receiving or just purchasing my art made people happy. You see when you're laughing, it is incredibly hard to be unhappy. So, miraculously, you're dragged yelling and hooting into a state we call, "Happy." Oh yeah, that. Happy.

So have a great browse on my site. If you laugh, keep a Kleenex near you. Protect your monitor.
